Hilton Birmingham Downtown at UAB
The Hilton Birmingham Downtown at UAB is across the street from medical facilities of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Five Points South dining is a short walk away. The hotel has two restaurants, an outdoor pool as well as immersive spin bikes in the fitness center.
Upon arrival into Birmingham Airport, the hotel provides a roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary and available on request. For transportation from Airport to Hilton: once attendees have their luggage, please call hotel direct (205-933-9000) for service. Two shuttles run on a continuous basis from 4:30am – 11:30pm. Attendees will need to make a shuttle reservation (in advance) for transportation from Hilton to Airport for flight departure. Uber and Lyft are both available in Birmingham, and are both easy to access for transportation around town and to/from the Airport.

Hotel rooms for the nights of Weds 5/3 and Thurs 5/4 will be paid directly by the MBRF. Hotel check-in time is 4pm, check-out time is 12pm

Incidental expenses will be charged to individual credit cards, provided upon hotel check-in.

Graduate student and postdoctoral trainees are encouraged to share rooms – accommodations with 2 beds are available.
